Spooky Empire - Day 3

I debated whether to make a post for Sunday, or just dump it at the end of my Saturday post. But I love my one celeb photo I took so much I needed to see it as a post on the main page lol. I did not need any more autographs, but I decided to pop back in to the con one last time. Mostly just to see friends and say my goodbyes. Towards the end of the VIP hour, Brad Dourif had no line. I saw that my friend Shaun was right next to him, and Connie was standing at Fiona's table. So I made another spur of the moment decision. I asked to get a photo with Brad, Connie, and Shaun all together. I was also able to have a bit of a conversation with Brad. When I told him he was my all-time favorite horror icon, he replied "Do you know who my favorite is? Vincent Price.". We then talked about Vincent Price movies for a bit. At this point Shaun came over and told Brad all about my collection. I told Brad that all of the items I had him sign in the back on Friday were all for me. He was astonished lol. He had assumed I was a consignor. Let's face it, most people think I'm a consignor lol. Then Shaun asked me to show Brad my photo op with his daughter from the day before. I showed him. At first he just stared at it. Kinda made me nervous lol. But then he let out a single loud guffaw. He thought it was hilarious! Whew, crisis averted! Then we took the photos. First we took the group photo. I absolutely love how this one turned out.

And then Shaun suggested I get another selfie with Brad. What, am I going to say no???

At this point, I just did a final lap of the celeb area, talking to everybody one last time. I even got selfies with a couple of people, which I almost never think to do. I always want to, but then I get so focused on getting my stuff signed that I forget. Note, a couple of these were taken on previous days.

I really hope I end my next con with about ten times more selfies than this. But this is a start!

Another successful Spooky Empire is in the books. I've come to really like this venue. The only downside is the parking. Lucky for me I get here on Thursday when there is ample parking, and then I don't touch my car until Sunday.
