Steel City Con - Day 2
I got there even earlier on day 2, but still wasn't first in line. There were already 2 chairs lined up. But I was a bit closer to the front than the day before. It also wasn't quite as cold, but I still spent a good portion of the morning in the car with the heater on. I was torn on who to go for first. My initial game plan was to get Bruce Dickinson first. But missing out on Peter Cullen on the first day messed up my plans. I decided to go for Cullen first. I needed

Steel City Con - Day 1
It's time for my last convention of the year. I've attended Steel City Con once before, in April of last year. They had a phenomenal lineup. John Carpenter, Christina Ricci, Hayden Panettiere, Heather Graham, etc. Well worth the travel. With one HUUUUUGE exception that I won't get into right now, I had a great time. Mail Call: Sam Neill
There are quite a few companies out there that do private signings with celebrities. Some are very reliable. Some are not. Everest Autographs is one of the reliable ones. They recently did a private signing with Sam Neill. They actually flew to New Zealand to do the sign

Mail Call: James McAvoy
New York Comic Con scares the crap out of me. They get some really great guests, but I just can't get myself to go. I did Mega Con for the first time earlier this year, and it was basically hell on earth. I kept waiting for hooks to fly out of nowhere and pierce my flesh. Luckily there are some trustworthy people that can get stuff signed for people that can't, or won't, attend. Teddy Ng and AJ Viscione are two such people. They got two posters signed by Sigourney Weave

Spooky Empire - Day 3
I almost never go to conventions on Sunday. I usually finish getting what I need done at some point on Saturday, and head home Saturday night. But I just missed the Cassandra Peterson photo op on Saturday. So I decided to get it done today. I started the day with the awesome Eggs Benedict at the B-Line Diner. I had the pleasure of eating breakfast with Jeff East and Michael St. Michaels. It was a great way to start the day. I got in line WAY too early today. I don’t know why,
